Artists have the opportunity to sell, display, and provide interactive experiences to the community.

RULES AND GUIDELINES:

  1. This is a Juried Event – all entries will be reviewed by a three-person art jury determined by Crossroads Arts Council. Entries will be judged on the following criterion:
  • Quality of original art
  • Suitable art for outdoor brewery event
  • Medium category (we will have a balance of mediums selected)
  1. Entry must include the following:
  • $10 nonrefundable jury fee payable through credit card, Paypal or check payable to: Crossroads Arts Council, PO Box 515, Wentzville, MO 63385. (Upon acceptance, booth fees are $50)
  • 5 images that is representative of the work that you will be exhibiting. (Please send good quality, uncluttered and well cropped photos.)
  • Upon acceptance, artists will be notified no later than July 19, 2022 via email and text and guaranteed a 10’x10’ space for an art tent. You must confirm your commitment of involvement in “Arts & Ales” through email to crossroadsartscouncil@gmail.com by Monday, August 1, 2022 and pay a $50 booth fee.
  1. There will be no commissions on sales of artwork.
  2. Artists will be expected to have their booth open during the full hours of the event.
  3. Electrical outlets will be available, bring your own lighting equipment and extension cords.
  4. Booths must have 40lb. weights for each corner and have overnight walls. Artists are not required to outload product overnight. Be advised that security is not provided, however, Friendship Brewing Company is heavily patrolled by Wentzville police.
  5. Beer vouchers and discount food tickets will be provided by Friendship Brewing Company and The Caboose Kitchen.
  6. Be prepared for mild fall weather conditions. This event will only be canceled due to severe weather conditions. Fee will not be reimbursed but may be used toward another event.
  7. Cancellations will not be refunded.
  8. All accepted artists will receive an information package including a layout map of the streets, designated loading and unloading areas, and suggested parking.
  9. All accepted artists are expected to share this event on their own marketing sites and social media.
  10. This is a family friendly event, with a Kids Art “Under the Tent” area.
  11. Friendship Brewing Company has scheduled musicians and vendors who be set up near the art booths to encourage sales.
