Weaving Exploration Extravaganza

One Week Only!   Join artist Sally Vikman for an exploration of various weaving tools and techniques.During this week, Sally will lead you through weaving basics, exercises, and tips using simple frame looms and harness weaving looms. When you feel comfortable, you can reserve some time on a specific loom to create your own project. You can choose to make a scarf, a towel, a placemat, or a small tapestry.
Spend a little time, or a little bit more.. Survey and explore, or go home with your own project (or two.) The classroom at Crossroads Arts will be dedicated to weaving and filled with weaving supplies/tools for the week! All supplies are provided, and Sally will be available to answer questions. Each class is limited to 5 people, adults or youth aged15+. Have a loom already, and need some help getting started? Bring it in for some guidance. $30/hour.

Sat. July 20 & Tues. July 23:  1:00-2:00 Intro to weaving looms, 2:30-3:30 Beginning Harness Loom Weaving,  4:00-5:00 Beginning Tapestry Weaving

Sun. July 21 & Mon. July 22: 1:00-2:00 Intro to weaving looms,  2:30-3:30 Beginning Harness Loom Weaving,  4:00-5:00 Beginning Tapestry Weaving,  6:00-7:00 Intro to Weaving Looms,  

7:30-8:30 Beginning Harness Loom Weaving,  Each of the above classes is $30

Wed. July 24 - Sat. July 27:  1:00-4:00 Reserve a project loom for 3 hours,  5:00-8:00 Reserve a project loom for 3 hours,  Each 3 hour reservation is $80.  Have a loom already, and need some help getting started?  Bring it in for some guidance. $30/hour.  Email Sally at sjvikman@gmail.com to reserve your desired activities.

Spanish Class July '24

This free class is an opportunity for those who are learning how to speak Spanish and also for those who already speak Spanish. It is a time to practice speaking the language in a judgement free environment. Join us Monday, July 22nd 6:30-7:30. The topic this month is "Travel and Vacations".
