Xu Fang Fang, concert pianist and author, grew up in China under Chairman Mao’s Cultural Revolution. Her father was the most famous artist in China and was trained in the western arts. Fang Fang’s story is of tragedy and triumph. She studied in USA (Berkeley and Stanford Universities) and had a long career in music education and performance. She is the author of three books that chronicles the trials and tribulations of this privileged family from the Communist revolution until the death of Mao. 

Her books and CD of her piano performance at Lincoln Center will be for sale. Cash only.
